Last-Minute and Emergency Moving
- Same-day or next-day scheduling when crew is available
- Standard crew of three movers and one truck
- Quilted blankets, dollies, and hand trucks
- Packing materials available if needed (billed separately)
- Honest assessment of availability when you call
- Flexible time slots based on crew schedule
Last-minute moves happen. Leases get terminated early, closings get moved up, job transfers come through faster than expected. We keep a portion of our schedule open for short-notice work, and if we have a crew available, we'll get you on the calendar.
Same-day moves are possible for smaller jobs — studio apartments, one-bedrooms, or partial loads. If you call before noon and we have a truck free, we can usually be there that afternoon. Next-day moves are more common and give us time to confirm the crew and make sure we have the right truck size.

The trade-off is you might not get your first-choice time slot, and pricing is sometimes slightly higher because we're shuffling the schedule to accommodate you. But if the alternative is paying another month's rent or losing your closing date, it's worth it.
For last-minute jobs, we recommend you start packing immediately. Even if we're doing the move tomorrow, having your boxes packed and ready to go makes a huge difference in how fast the job runs. If you need packing help on short notice, we'll bring materials and pack the morning of the move, but that adds time to the overall job.
If it's peak season (summer) and you're calling on a Thursday asking for a Saturday move, availability is tight. Off-season (November through March), we have a lot more flexibility. Either way, call and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it work.
